China Adoption Program

We are accepting applications for China.    DeColores networks with US agencies who are accredited in China and who have signed an agency agreement with DeColores. China is the most popular international country from which to adopt a child due to the quick and efficient service, low fees, and healthy children. Thousands of Chinese children have been adopted since 1992, and the program is stable and efficient.  The Chinese government has developed a highly organized adoption system, and you will generally find a China adoption to be a smooth process. Most of the available children are girls and are generally quite healthy; developmental delays tend to be minimal.

 

 

 

Costs:  

$3000 Agency Fee, includes dossier preparation for no additional charge. 

$200   Application Fee:  Due with initial agency application and is non-refundable.

$500   Post-Placement Deposit. ($300 refundable, $200 non refundable for post placement processing and translation)  This money will be due before travel and refunded to you after both post-placements are submitted to the agency. Two reports are due after the adoption is completed.

International service fees for services rendered in China: 
a. $2590 International fee (due with dossier). Includes the following:
·         Program Coordination Fee
·         Dossier Translation Fee
·         CCAA Registration Fee

b.  In-China facilitator cost: $165 per day divided by number of families in a group. Paid while in China.  Number of days averages 10 to 12.

Travel Costs:
OCDF, our facilitation team in China, gets excellent group rates for families traveling to China for their adoptions.  OCDF works with a travel consolidator in the U.S. to offer discounted flights to China. When five or more families travel together, the lodging costs in China are reduced by as much as 30%.   Upon request, we will send you a spread sheet showing the spectrum of travel costs.  

For families whose annual combined adjusted gross income is under $150,000, IRS tax credits will repay you $10,000 per child against ANY expenses incurred in your adoption.
